Project 2 of 5N2396 at City College Dublin is the second 50% project of the component. This time you may choose any disability, such as autism, Down syndrome or ADHD. In 3,000 to 4,000 words you explain causes and characteristics, list four evidence-based interventions and describe one in depth, explain the multidisciplinary team, compare four educational options, plan a week of activities and design a visual timetable for one school day.

The visual timetable is the part markers remember, so make it clear, age-appropriate and linked to the child you describe, and explain why visual supports matter for that child. For the interventions, choose ones with real evidence, for example speech and language therapy or applied behaviour approaches, and show how each member of the multidisciplinary team contributes in an Irish school.
