The short version
- We collect only what we need to quote your brief, do the work and reply to you.
- We never sell your data, and we never contact your college or tutor.
- Your brief and files are seen only by your assigned specialist and the person managing your request.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, at any time.
- We keep files for 24 months, then delete them unless you ask us to do it sooner.
1.Who we are
2.What information we collect
We keep this deliberately narrow. In practice we hold:
- Contact details โ your name, email address and, if you give it, a phone or WhatsApp number.
- Course details โ your QQI level, module or course name, and your deadline. Naming your college is optional and we do not require it.
- Files you send us โ assignment briefs, marking sheets, drafts, notes and any other material you attach.
- Message history โ emails, WhatsApp messages and form submissions between you and our team.
- Payment records โ the amount, date and reference for each transaction. We do not see or store your full card details; those are handled by our payment provider.
- Technical data โ IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited, collected through analytics.
3.How we collect it
Almost all of it comes directly from you โ through the form on our submission page or contact page, by email, or over WhatsApp. Technical data is collected automatically by cookies and analytics when you browse the site, as described in section 6.
4.Why we use it, and our legal basis
Under GDPR we must have a lawful basis for every use of your data. Ours are set out below.
5.Who we share it with
A short list, and it does not include anyone who wants to sell you something.
- Your assigned specialist โ sees your brief and the course details needed to do the work. They do not receive your payment information.
- Our payment provider โ processes your transaction under their own privacy policy.
- Our email, hosting and analytics providers โ process data on our instructions as data processors under written agreements.
- Our accountant โ sees transaction records only, for tax compliance.
6.Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies:
- Essential cookies โ needed for the site to function, such as remembering that you closed the notification bar. These do not require consent.
- Analytics cookies โ tell us which pages are read and where visitors come from, in aggregate. These are set only if you accept them.
You can withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser or using the settings link in our cookie banner. Refusing analytics cookies does not restrict any part of the site.
7.How long we keep it
We keep files for 24 months because learners frequently come back part-way through an award and it saves them re-sending everything. If you would rather we deleted yours sooner, just ask and we will action it.
8.Where your data is stored
Our systems and service providers store data within the European Economic Area wherever possible. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, that transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. You can ask us which providers we use and where they are based.
9.Your rights under GDPR
You have the following rights over your personal data, free of charge:
- Access โ a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification โ correction of anything inaccurate.
- Erasure โ deletion of your data, where we are not required to keep it.
- Restriction โ pausing our use of your data while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability โ your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection โ to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent โ at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on.
Email info@qqiassignments.com to exercise any of these. We respond within one month, as GDPR requires. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not hand your data to somebody else.
10.Marketing emails
We only email you about new guides and deadline reminders if you have subscribed. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing has no effect on any work in progress. We do not add customers to a mailing list automatically because they placed an order.
11.Age and under-18s
Our service is intended for learners aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12.How we protect it
The site runs over HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate. Access to learner files is restricted to the assigned specialist and the person managing the request, and every specialist works under a written confidentiality agreement. Accounts are protected by strong passwords and, where the provider supports it, two-factor authentication.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. In the event of a personal data breach that presents a risk to your rights, we will notify the Data Protection Commission within 72 hours and inform you directly where the risk is high.
13.Links to other sites
This site links to external pages, including QQI, ETB and college websites. Once you leave our site you are covered by that organisationโs privacy policy rather than ours. We are not responsible for the content or data practices of sites we link to.
14.Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will tell subscribers by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
15.Contact us or make a complaint
For any question about your data, email info@qqiassignments.com or use the contact page. We would always rather resolve something directly with you first.
Your right to complain to the regulator
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish supervisory authority:
